The Interim Elections and Boundaries Commission IEBC is split over the results that were to be announced later this afternoon. Through its Vice chair, on Monday, August 15, the commission said that they were not confident in the results.

Chaos immediately broke lose at the Bomas of Kenyan when the chairman Wafula Chebukati entered the hall. Leaders present at the event tried to get to him with tight security preventing that from happening.

This split in the IEBC is the cause of the delay in announcements of the results. Kenyans from all over the country were waiting with baited breath but nothing is yet to be said.

We are yet to know the end results but still hope the country will remain peaceful as we await the official results from the commission.
