Rapper Eko Dydda Wins Mathare North MCA Seat

Celebrities and creatives seem to be joining parliament at an alarming rate. Rapper Eko Dydda is the latest to join the group of celebrities getting into government this year.

According to reports online, the veteran gospel rapper has won the Mathare North Ward seat. Eko Dydda won the MCA seat on Wednesday, August 10, after the results were announced.

Eko Dydda said,” Congratulations to everyone that voted for me. That was a landslide win,”. The rapper noted that he was proud of what he had achieved in the elections.

He becomes the latest celebrity to join the political wins after the likes of Jalang’o in Lang’ata Constituency, and DNG in Woodley.

We are yet to get the full results for the elections and so far we see more creatives getting political positions.
