
Details of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Retirement Package

As Kenyans near the election period, outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta is preparing for life after the presidency. According to a report by Citizen Digital on Monday, August 1, the president is set to receive a massive payoff as he retires.
President Uhuru Kenyatta will get a lumpsum pension totaling Ksh34.7 million. He will also have a fuel allowance of Ksh216, 563 monthly for his travels around the country if need be.
Uhuru will also get a Ksh332,063 monthly allowance to cover housing. In addition, an entertainment allowance of Ksh216,563 will be allocated to the retiring president.
Utilities will cost taxpayers Ksh300,000 with a monthly pension of Ksh1,115,000. other benefits will include 4 cars including 2 limousines, replaceable every four years.
Uhuru will still get 2 personal secretaries, 4 messengers, fully furnished offices, 4 bodyguards and drivers, and a full medical cover.
