Sol Generation’s musician Bien Baraza has dropped a hint that he is set to release music featuring Oxlade. Oxlade is a popular Nigerian afropop artist with lots of hits to his name. His most recent single is Kilosa,a corruption of the word closer.

Via an Instagram post, Bien captioned three photos of himself alongside the Nigerian celebrity

Followed by flag emojis representing Kenya and Nigeria. He also tagged @imago.studios_ke, crediting them with taking the photos and tagged the location as Nairobi Kenya. It’s not clear when and where this photo was taken and for what reason that Oxlade came to Nairobi, thousands of miles from his residential Lagos – maybe just to record with Bien.

The post got a lot of traction naturally as the Sauti Sol lead singer has thousands of followers on Instagram. Oxlade himself commented “MY BROSKY” alongside a palm tree emoji and that of a Kenyan flag. Sauti Sol are very popular across the continent and within Nigeria where they have worked with stars like Yemi Alade,Tiwa Savage,Patoranking and Burna Boy.

For now fans of African music can only wait for the song to be released or for more information from the artistes involved. Some artistes from Kenya and Nigeria commented as well, hyping the match up and applauding the mouthwatering combination of superstars on a single track.
