Miguna Miguna Goes After Presidential Debate Moderators

Former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna is not at all impressed with how the presidential debate was done. On Tuesday, July 26, Miguna Miguna said that the questions targeted Deputy President William Ruto.

“Eric Latiff and @YvonneOkwara have scored 40/100 in their moderation of the solo debate. They asked some very good questions. But they did so as if they were doing it on behalf of despot Uhuru Kenyatta and conman@RailaOdinga. They avoided interrogating UDA’s manifesto,” he said.

Miguna said this referring to the debate moderators Eric Latiff of Standard Group and Yvonne Okwara of Royal Media. He commented that the questions were nowhere near what was in the manifesto that had been presented by the Deputy President weeks ago.

He also commented on what William Ruto left out and felt like he should have talked about to set the record straight.

“DP @WilliamsRuto MISSED the opportunity to explain the limits of his powers viz-a-viz the defiance of court Orders. He should not have dodged the question. He should have EXP0LICITLY stated that REAL POWER is WIELDED by despot Uhuru Kenyatta,” Miguna Miguna said.

Miguna Miguna later revealed that the failure of Azimio leader Raila Odinga showing up would affect the way Kenyans saw him and in the long run be a hit on his campaign.

Miguna said,”Conman @RailaOdinga and the kuzimia lost a huge opportunity to confront @WilliamsRuto with all the allegations@EricLatiff and @YvonneOkwara asked on their behalf. Ruto did extremely well by exposing the reason why the PROJECT did not show up. August 9th, here we come! Game over!”
