Maandy Drops Much Anticipated Flavour Album
Rapper Maandy is not playing this as per the works she keeps dropping. The rapper has finally dropped her solo album. 9 songs are already on all streaming platforms, dropping on Friday, May 12.
The rapper embodies the strength that comes with being a female rapper in the country. Following the footsteps of Femi One, who dropped an EP, a couple of weeks back, Maandy has given the Hip Hop game moments to be proud of.
“Sita Sita” is her first track on the album and it talks about the doubts that people have expressed on her. She mentions that if they have questions they can simply ask. “Nani angedhani, last year nilikuwa Ongwaro base flani,” she says in one of her standout lyrics.
The album goes on to show her prowess with the lyrics and bars alike. The femcee hits every single bar in her track called “Dame Ka Mimi”. She goes hard on this one claiming that people who thought she would get lost after her monster hit “Shash na Lipgloss” are mistaken.
“Spoil” is another track I really loved from the album. She went in with a Kapuka kind of vibe with the track being done by Ricobeats. The track is a typical party anthem and it shows her wild side as an entertainer.
Her last track on the album is called B4 I Go and it shows her smooth vocals as she narrates her story at a night club. She sings “Last one before I go” talking about the dilemma people have when trying to leave a party that is still going on.
She mentions how she is even ready to go all out despite having a man waiting for her at home. The mellow voice on the chorus and hook make the song hit just the right spot. The rapper here goes all out and reminds people of the same vibe she had on the collaboration with Sautisol’s Savara a while back.
