Gor Mahia land new sponsorship Deal
Kenyan football club giants Gor Mahia have announced a new shirt sponsor for the next premier league campaign. The club via their Twitter page on Tuesday, July 12, revealed BetAfriq as their new sponsors.
“We are pleased to announce Betafriq as our new shirt sponsor. We have signed a three-year year deal worth KSh76.5 million per year – includes KSh5m for kitting and KSh1.5 million for players’ insurance,” the club revealed.
BetAfriq will sponsor the Kenyan club in the upcoming 2022-2023 season that will kick off later this year.
Gor Mahia did not have success last season when they failed to clinch the title for the second year running. The club was outclassed by competition from Kakamega Homeboyz and Tusker, with the latter winning the title in the end.
This new deal will see them have an easy season and avoid the troubles they faced last season that proved to be a disadvantage to their title hopes.
