Wangeci and Buruklyn Boyz Set for A Collabo

One of Kenya’s best Femcee Wangeci is back again on the microphone. Wangeci, who has been quiet for a while on Wednesday, July 5 shared via her Twitter account that she had something dropping this coming Friday.

The rapper shared a poster indicating that she had a new song with drill masters Buruklyn Boyz that was complete and ready to drop on Friday. Wangeci revealed that the song would be called “Mzigo” at least per the post she made.

Wangeci has been quiet ever since she dropped the Chonjo EP that also featured Wakadinali’s Scar. The EP did well on streaming platforms and gave her an opportunity to make her much needed comeback. She was also featured on the monster collaboration “Lip Service” that had Kaka Empire’s Femi One.

The two femcees shared the song with each one of them coming in hard with witty bars. Femi One, currently the most sought-after Femcee in the country, involved Wangeci in the track that brought back the attention to her.

Wangeci is one of the best female rappers the country has ever seen and her portfolio speaks for itself. With over 28k subscribers on YouTube, the numbers are speaking for themselves, considering Kenyans don’t listen to a lot of female rappers.

Wangeci is set to drop the collaboration on Friday, July 7.

Her biggest track last year that had fans jamming was her collaboration with the whole Wakadinali crew. The song “Romantic Rivals” gained substantial mileage and also got more than enough airplay among her fans.

This new collaboration with Buruklyn Boyz might be another track that brings her back to the limelight. She has been quiet, it is about time we paid attention to her again.
