Kilifi Deejay shot dead by KDF officer in a club

A 27-year-old Kilifi Dejaay’s family is pleading with authorities to bring charges against the entertainer after reports surfaced that he was murdered while working at a nearby hotel.

Salim Moriasi, also known as DJ Goodie, was allegedly slain on Christmas Day at around 1:00 am following an altercation at the County Lux Comfort Hotel in Marikanani.

According to reports, a brawl broke out after the DJ allegedly refused to play a song that several partygoers had requested, setting up an uproar.

After the partygoers attacked him, DJ Goodie suffered injuries to various regions of his body, according to family spokesperson George Abuga.

The Kilifi Deejay passed away while undergoing treatment at the Mariakani Sub-county Hospital after being taken there in a hurry

Abuga claims that a mortuary autopsy at Coast General Hospital determined the deceased died from severe head trauma and cardiorespiratory arrest.

The family claimed that DJ Goodie’s employer tried to obstruct the inquiries into what happened.

Despite having worked for them for six years, the dead was listed by Abuga’s employer as an unknown patient at the Mariakani Sub-county Hospital.
