Sautisol Set To Release First Single as a Group in Over 2 Years
Kenya’s favorite boy-band is back together. The exciting four-some of Bien Baraza, Polycarp, Chimano and Savara is set to to release new music together.
Announcing on their social media on Monday, November 21, the group reported that they would be releasing a track together after 2 years of solo projects and features.
“Excited to announce our first official single, as a group, in 2 years! LIL MAMA out this Friday on all platforms. Can you tell who’s who on the cover?” the post read.
The group took a break and went solo to try and experiment their different abilities. Bienz-Aime has been the most present figure in the group and the solo experiment exposed the other members’ talents.
The group has been the best artists in the country for over a decade and have even won a Grammy for their participation in the African Giant album by Nigerian Burna Boy.
This new excitement comes as Kenyans have gone for so long without getting a track from the group as a unit. Their announcement elicited a lot of reactions from Kenyans especially the cover for the song.
The Power-rangers themed cover provided a ground for commentary with some calling the group after American powerhouse Daft Punk.
“Wow,it has been a minute, let me fasten my seat belt because I know it’s going to be a great ride after the single followed by multiple songs and an album probably. I know @sautisol means business,” Kewanja said.
“I hope this will be the album that will finally launch Kenya properly into the musical map in the world like Nigerian music. East African music has been neglected and ignored for far too long. Can’t wait!” Firdamu said.
Are you guys excited?
