Octopizzo performs Alongside Tanzania Heavyweight Jaymo
Henry Ohanga also known as Octopizzo was in Tanzania on Saturday and took the stage to perform alongside Tanzania heavyweight MC Jaymo. The rapper was invited to perform at the Hip Hop Asili show that was held in Dareesalam Tanzania over the weekend.
The event attracted 50 artists from 10 African countries and was held at the Alliance Francaise in Dareesalam Tanzania. The event started on Friday and Octopizzo took the stage on Saturday, June 24, where he performed alongside other great acts in the Hip Hop world.
The event was supported by the U.S Embassy and was the 2nd edition to be held since its inception. According to a post Octopizzo made on his Instagram on Thursday. The rapper revealed that the event was to celebrate the Hip Hop industry and culture in East Africa.

The list of performances has freestyling sessions where rappers were taught the art of freestyling among other things. Break dancing, a huge part of Hip Hop, was also on the list of activities at the three-day show.
Hip Hop Deejaying and Graffiti were also part of the other activities that were included in the Hip Hop Asili event.
