Socialite Shakila has boldly come out to report that she was paid over Ksh 300k by American Rapper Tory Lanez. According to an expose by Edgar Obare on Monday, 9, 2023, the socialite said that she had earned from the little 15 seconds of Fame she got.

Quarantine Radio was one of the in things in 2020 at the height of the pandemic and this catapulted Shakila into startdorm. The budding socialite shot to fame when a video of her shaking what her mama gave her started doing rounds online.

Tory Lanez even ended up shouting out the socialite when she appeared on the show. The show had women from all over the globe trying to entertain the world while the pandemic dampened everyone’s mood.

The American Rapper apparently gave over Ksh300k to Shakila for being part of the show. Details on how she ended up getting the money are scarce but at least now we know how famous she could be.
