I have to be honest before I get into this. I wasn’t a fan of Femi One when she was starting out. I felt like she wasn’t really good at what she was doing. Then she grew up and became this monster rapper who is now traversing the continent and winning major awards.

Her latest project has most Hip Hop heads banging their heads and discussing her position among the top rappers lists. She has become a very prominent female rapper in the country. Her project Dem Kutoka Mwiki has the best production we could ever hope for.

Dem Kutoka Mwiki embodies the most bars I have ever heard on an EP. Femi One has also recruited the best rappers in Trio Mio and Katapilla. My attention was however drawn to Shanty Bobo who came in guns blazing with her participation in Queen’s Speech. That collaboration, the back and forth, reminded me of Khaligraph Jones and Katapilla on The Avengers cypher.

They brought their A-game on this one and Femi One loved it. She went on her socials and shared Shanty Bobo’s verse to appreciate how she came through on that track. The EP has fire track from beginning to end.

She switches up the beats with the best producers on the tracks. She has Vinc and Tesla on some of her beats and it gels well with the whole concept of the EP. This playlist is definite one for the books and its whole presentation resonates with Hip Hop lovers in the country.

On this one I can honestly say Femi One stepped up, as she has done recently. The EP has everything I hoped for on a Hip Hop project.
