Music distribution company Chezaa Africa has announced its new partnership move. The company on Wednesday, May 10, revealed that they were getting into a collaboration with AfroCharts. Through their CEO Kennedy Oloo, Chezaa Africa shared the news via LinkedIn mentioning the new milestone.

“We’re excited to announce our new partnership with AfroCharts, a rapidly growing music streaming platform dedicated to promoting African music globally. This partnership will enable Chezaa Africa to distribute its content to AfroCharts and focus on the African music scene,” the post on LinkedIn read.

This comes after the two entities agreed on working together to make sure more music from African artists was being ditributed.

“The global music industry has seen an influx of African artists who are gaining recognition for their unique sound and cultural influence.

This has led to the need for a platform that caters specifically to African music lovers and artists. Chezaa Africa and AfroCharts are those platforms, and this partnership is aligned with our mission to promote African music worldwide,” Mr. Oloo posted.

The new move will see the two partner-up to help both upcoming and established artists to get their music on streaming platforms and earn from it. According to Music in Africa, a website that covers African music, the partnership would see the streaming platform AfroCharts work closely with Chezaa Africa in continuing to support artists. The partnership will enable Chezaa Africa to distribute its content to AfroCharts.
