Popular anthem “Kuna Kuna” surpasses 10 million views on YouTube

Black Market Records signee Vic West’s viral ‘Kuna Kuna’ hit song has been recorded as the first Kenyan song to achieve over 10 million views within three months of its premiere on YouTube.

The club banger features black Market records artists such Fathermoh and Thee Exit Band and of course the super talented Savara of Sauti Sol, as well as Brandy Maina.

Kuna Kuna attracted the attention of the whole country and went ahead to become the 2022 anthem after it went viral on TikTok and other social platforms when it first came out but three months later, it’s still the most requested song on all TV and radio stations and clubs too. And in as much as the song itself is a hit, the choreography also helped a big deal, since everywhere it’s played, everyone who uses social media and has watched the video, knows the steps.

That was the case with an assistant chief from Kisumu county who went viral on social media platforms, after being filmed dancing to “Kuna Kuna” in a club during the Christmas holidays. Mr. John Ogilo, even conducted interviews and won a vacation just because he danced to the song.

Black Market Records artists are releasing hit songs back back and we can’t wait to see which next song from the label will be just as big as this one.
And of course, if you haven’t watched it, you’re missing out and you should check it out on YouTube here
