Kenya Kwanza Wetangula becomes latest Polictician to Rock Nikes in Campaigns
Politicians and fashion have always been worlds apart but not this time around. FORD-Kenyan principal and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula is the latest to have a fashion sense. The politician was on a campaign trail when he was pictured rocking Nike shoes.
The Senator excited fans with the ensemble that he had on. Wetangula rocked a green and white shirt that matched his green and white Nike shoes that he had on. Kenyans noticed that he was following up on what had already been done by other politicians.
Azimio leader Raila Odinga started the trend in November last year when he was seen in public with blue Nike Js that surprised many Kenyans. The former Prime Minister had on a matching T-shirt and jacket that completed his look.
Kenya Kwanza principal and Deputy President William Ruto also pulled out his best look when he went with his coalition colors on his outfit. Ruto came out with an all-green and yellow look that also complimented his look.
The former Eldoret North MP rocked yellow and green Nike Js that matched his long-sleeved Tshirt and also had on jeans that completed his casual look.
It feels like politicians are finally adopting to the new fashion trends that they have always despised in the past.
